Maybe this is a silly question, but how do you wear your baby carrier in the winter. Well- if you're winters are like they are here- really cold and snowy. If I'm wearing a huge bulky coat, and she's all bundled in her snowsuit and layers-- how are you supposed to wear a carrier? Is it even possible? |||we do it! bundle him/her all up and wiggle the little one in! it might be a little harder but as long as the carrier supports the right amount of weight, it is possible! here is my little guy all bundled and ready for a walk to the store!
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3245/3017鈥?/a>||| I went to a secondhand store and bought a coat for my that was big enough to do up with the baby in the carrier. I found the all of my little ones were warm enough ( wearing undershirt, heavy sleeper and a hat ) then in the carrier because the coal and your body heat kept them warm but not enough to over heat . 2 of my children were born in October and 2 in November. so they were little in the winter and Canadian winters can be really cold and snowy and this worked great. when I went in some place like the mall I just unzipped the coat and and put baby's hat in my pocket and I didn't have to worry about baby being too hot.|||I live in MN...and it is cold here too...I always just wore her in the carrier in the house or if we went to my Dad's house...|||We put ours in a poncho. It goes right over the carrier and keeps them warm too!
