You can call or go in and they will give a message to your carrier.|||Call the post master at the nearest post office and tell him/her your address. The post master will redirect your call if you get the wrong office. Don't leave your carrier a note, though! Many times you have multiple route carriers. Also, the post office doesn't like to get weird - non-postage mail - especially with all the terroristic threats that go through the mail these days. Plus, many carriers are independent contractors, so they really can't answer many of your questions. And finally, if it is a complaint contact, the post master is paid to resolve problems, not the carriers!
