How do I attach a rear carrier to my bicycle?

I just bought a rear cargo carrier for my bike and it came with NO instructions!

If you know of a site with instructions or you can explain it clearly, please post an answer!!!

Thanks!|||To fit the standard rear cargo carrier (which looks something like this: http://www.topeak.com/products/Racks/Exp鈥?/a>

Your bike should have some little holes on the frame near the rear hub. These are called 'braze-ons'. There should be some other little holes near the sear post (also called braze-ons). Your rack should have come with bolts that will fit these holes. Place the rack in roughly the correct spot on the bike, and thread the bolts through so that they take in first the carrier, then the frame, then add the nut on the other side of the frame.

The loose pieces of metal that connect to the holes near the seat tube are able to be bent it you need them to be.

Don't tighten with a spanner until all of the bolts are in place and the carrier is balanced parallel to the ground.

If all else fails, take it to a local bike shop and they will do it for you!

For other DIY bicycle issues the best site on the web is www.sheldonbrown.com|||You have to tell us what kind it is and who made it.
