I need to stack cupcakes to deliver to a friends party next week. I will be making 4 dozen. I live in Japan and can't find a store that sells the carriers. I dont have time to order online. This is an SOS ! Does anyone know how to make a homemade cupcake carrier?|||I've used card board boxes. Just find ones the right size and then I cut the sides down with a box cutter (leaving about a half an inch above the tops of the cupcake size) so they look more like a serving tray and then I wrap them with wrapping paper to give them a better look. You can use four boxes and stack them on top of one another to carry, without smooching the cupcakes! Good Luck!!!|||Just use a tupperware box|||Just use a regular rectangle tupperwear container. You can find them most anywhere, they're not too deep and you can get lids too. Or you can get an aluminum pan from most grocery stores, anymore you can get them with lids also.|||shirt box with crunchy foil to prevent them from sliding !!!!|||Every cup cake I ever saw at a party was just covered with wax paper. The icing was all flattened and screwed up too. It's just something folks accept with cupcakes.|||Just stack them in a pyramid on a large plate, or two. And then cover the top with that clear plastic wrap or tin foil.|||Just use those aluminum cooking pans, used for caterings and etc.|||i doubt you have 4 dozen muffin pans but you could at least carry some in there. as for the others... maybe put toothpicks in the tops and then saran wrap over them, carried on a couple of plates... Hope they survive!|||I make cupcakes all the time...I would suggest that maybe you get some shoe boxes and decorate the boxes and put your cupcakes in them. You could then tie the boxes together with ribbon or decorative string...make sure its tight enough that your boxes do not slip out from the ribbons. People just love my cupcakes...I decorate with flowers, and all kinds of designs. Its my little special hobby.I do for free.|||Place them back into a clean cupcake pan once they are frosted and decorated. Lightly cover the decorated cupcakes with foil, taking care not to mess up the tops.
Also, a lid from a carton of copy paper, lined with foil, then foil to cover it would work. You would have to use several, but then your cupcakes would not get crushed.|||get some card board, cut each cardboard to place next to cupcakes. you can do like maybe 6 then place cardboard ..6 more cardboard. and so on..this will keep them from moving and place a large cardboard on top and start all over again. You can carry 2/3 dozen this way.
