How do you know what your cellphone carrier is if you have a pre-paid?

I want to get text messages from local news websites on my


cell but to sign up I have to pick a carrier. I don't know which


one it is since it's a prepaid TracFone.|||Not guaranteed to work, but you could text yourself an email and the domain on the message you receive might be that of your current carrier, for example:





5556664321@email.uscc.net





would be your number and U.S. Cellular.
